Skin Care- Update 3

I've switched from Clarifying Lotion 3 to the Mild Clarifying Lotion. Both have salicylic acid but the Mild does not contain alcohol like the other toners. Level 3 was starting to dry my skin out and make it flake. Hopefully this helps. So far I'm dealin with some clogged pores all across my forehead.
Finding a good skin care routine is so frustrating. I hate that it takes weeks to find out if a product is working or not. Oh well, I'm just not very patient.

Studio Tools- Eye Contour Brush

So lately, I have been on the search for an eye blending brush. I looked at the options from Mac and Coastal Scents, but didn't want to spend a ton of money on a single brush or the cost of shipping. That's when I decided to look around for something at Target. Of course they carry the Sonia Kashuk line of brushes, which there are good reviews about, so I picked that up first. Then, I came across something interesting.

This is the Eye Contour Brush by Studio Tools. This brand seems to be a generic for Target. The price was $1.99. While I was skeptical at first, I figured for two bucks, what do I have to lose? I am so glad I purchased this brush. The bristles are very soft and flexible. It works great to add color to the crease of your eye. But even better, it is great for blending. It is able to create a softer look and blend out the harsh eyeshadow lines. I would highly reccomend this brush, not only for the price but for what it can do.

Skin Care Update 2

Started Clinique 3 Step on May 9th.

Today is May 23. As of now, my skin is still breaking out. Only this time it is smaller spots that seem to come and go quickly.
It has now been 2 full weeks and I thought by now I'd be past all that. I guess not. I have seen reviews where people using the products say it took them a month or more to have completely clear skin. Looks like I will be giving the system at least two more weeks. Hopefully, I will see more improvement with breakouts soon.
Other than breakouts, my skin has gotten smoother and looks more even throughout the day. The spots are less severe than usual and much smaller.
